BYCAC 2012 Entry Information

Entry to the BYCAC 2012 opens at the Carpin’ On show in Essex but entry forms can be found in Crafty Carper magazine from the April 2012 issue onwards.
All entrants are required to have their own carp fishing tackle and supply their own bait. -
Entry to the event is on a first come, first served basis, and there are no entry requirements other than the entrant must be aged 17 or under on August 1st 2012. Entrants must also be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18 years for the full duration of their time at the event. Parents/guardians are also required to bivvy out alongside the entrant over the course of the weekend of the final (for health and safety reasons). This person will be responsible for you whilst you are on site.

During the eliminators a catering van will be on site providing hot and cold food for you to purchase. During the 48-hour final entrants will receive a breakfast and an evening meal inclusive of the original entry fee, although it is advisable to take snacks and a stove and kettle to make warm drinks should the weather be cold. Parents/guardians will be able to purchase food on site throughout the event.

Entry fee to the event is £35.00, payable at the time of entry. There are no extra charges should you qualify for the final, the fee is fully inclusive. Each entrant will receive a goody bag packed full of great stuff from this year’s sponsors, including a Diem Logo T, a Diem Classic Peak Cap, a Diem Wallet and some stickers from this year’s official clothing sponsor.

If you have a preference for the day of your eliminator please mark this clearly on the entry form. You will be notified of your eliminator date in writing no later than July 5th 2012.

All anglers much have valid EA rod licences in order to enter the event. On the day of the event you must have your rod licences with you and available for checking on arrival and registration. Any anglers who are not in possession of two valid EA rod licences will not be able to take part in the event.
